4130 LA Subway Ride

A few us went out on the last 4130 Subway Series Ride. It’s basically a few hundred old school, mid school, and new school bmxers mixed in with a few bikes of all kinds. It’s an easy ride that starts in Hollywood and ends up in downtown LA (although, we ended up pedaling back as well). There were so many rad old school bikes… I’ve never seen so many bmx cruisers in one place! The 2nd pic up there shows a guy we ended up calling “DJ Pro Series” with an iPad and boombox mounted the bars of his GT Pro Series – so rad!

Got The Blues

Eric and Tom got the blues. Both of these are amazing builds. These pictures really show how the blue looks different in different lighting… basically, the brighter the light, the lighter the blue. I dig it.

Steez Of The Week

I haven’t done one of these in awhile, but I came across this pic of Cody McKenna and just had to post it. Little Cody has been shredding and digging all over the place lately. I was able to make it out and ride this spot with him the other day. Pretty rad.

Koala Update

I have been doing some digging and some filming out at Koala the past week or so. This is a screen shot taken from one of the video clips. It took some work to get them flowing well again. We had been doing some work off and on over the winter, but never really took the time to get it working right. We changed up the hip lip and made the setup jump a little longer and that’s all it took to get them blasting again. I also just had a genius idea for a new line… I just hope it’ll work!

Funky Fridays

The Mighty Imperials might be the closest thing to funkin’ like The Meters since The Meters. And how can you beat an album name like “Thunder Chicken?”
